Have you an in depth knowledge of the administration and legislative requirements for DB and DC pension schemes? Do you thrive under pressure and are able to prioritise an unpredictable volume of work? Are you able to adhere to tight deadlines? Are you able to provide an excellent service to members and colleagues around pensions and staff benefits issues?
You will work with the team to provide a comprehensive administration service to the members of the University’s Pension Schemes taking account of the pension scheme rules, statutory guidelines and government legislation. Ensuring work tasks are prioritised and are carried out efficiently and effectively to meet the required regulatory deadlines.
Providing information, guidance and assistance, often of a complex nature, both verbal and written as and when required to scheme members, employees and internal and external colleagues. You will manage the quality, accuracy and processing of pensions data, including the ability to produce detailed calculations and resolve complex issues, across all pension schemes and have an in depth knowledge of the benefit structures of the University pension schemes. Working within the boundaries surrounding pension scheme in relation to changing UK pension legislation.
You will deputise for the Pensions and Staff Benefits Manager where appropriate.
