Our client only requires you on site two days per week (but of course you can go in more if you wish), the days you work in the office are optional, and can be agreed within the team, but there are no set compulsory days to go in to the office.
As you are already working in pensions in some form you will already have current knowledge and understanding of the legislation, regulation and taxation surrounding DB and DC pensions in the UK and the ability to evidence applying this in a practical manner, and a solid understanding of Trust-based DC and DB pension arrangements and the ability to navigate and understand Trust Deed and Rules and other scheme documentation.
Working within the Technical Consulting Team you will work to support a range of technical projects delivering a high-quality service to all project stakeholders. You will work closely with the Senior Technical Consultant and members of the Strategy & Change Team to support the delivery of the pipeline of projects, and provide technical support to the Member Services Team on complex pension matters, and other related teams.
You will also assist the Senior Technical Consultant in drafting and maintaining a benefit specification for the two Nestlé UK pension arrangements. Provide technical input to all relevant projects managed by the Strategy & Change Team. Provide technical advice to the Member Services Team regarding procedural changes emanating from change projects, continuous improvement and legislative requirements. Assist the Senior Technical Consultant in identifying and interpreting relevant pension technical information and changes in pension-related legislation for use by the Company and Trustees. Support governance of all company UK pension arrangements in compliance with statutory time frames and best practice. Provide technical pension's support when required to HR, Payroll, Legal and other business functions and to the Trustees of all UK pension arrangements across Nestlé UK to maintain compliance with legislation. Conduct and support user acceptance testing as required.
