To celebrate and honor the achievements of inspiring women working within the pensions industry, Professional Pensions has recently launched the second annual Women in Pensions Awards, and there is now one week left before the the award nomination deadline of Tuesday 26th February.
The Women in Pensions Awards, which will be held in London on 11th July 2019, offer an opportunity to ensure to recognise and celebrate the talents and achievements of women working in a sector where they are currently under-represented, as well as inspiring other women to move into this dynamic profession and creating a broader pool of diverse, gender-balanced talent and a more sustainable pensions industry for all.
Do you work with a woman who is or has been a trailblazer within the pensions industry? Do you know any women who have made an inspirational or outstanding contribution to a project or task? Perhaps you know a potential future female bright star, or a woman who has been an excellent role model or mentor to other women working in the pensions industry? Maybe you have made a contribution to the sector that will help encourage and inspire the next generation of women in pensions?
If so, the deadline for submitting your nominations for the Women in Pensions Awards is Tuesday 26th February. Nomination is quick and easy - you simply submit some basic details about the person, company or scheme you wish to nominate, along with an optional 125-word statement to support your choice. You can even nominate yourself!
The Women in Pensions Awards will be an opportunity to celebrate the achievement of women within the industry, as well as to encourage and inspire the next generation of potential pioneering women in pensions to follow their lead and join the sector.
