A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Technical Team of our UK Retail Department.
As a Technical Specialist you will join a high quality team that supports the Group’s performance by providing technical support and expertise to both our Customer Services and Sales Teams in relation to Just Group’s products and any supporting legislation.
By keeping our Customer Services and Sales Teams up to date with any regulatory/legislative changes around the products we offer; we ensure there is no customer detriment and also ensure that our policies and procedures remain fit for purpose by meeting legislative, contractual and regulatory requirements.
We’re looking for someone with experience in the Life/Pensions Industry who has an understanding of the products we offer and has experience working in either Annuities, Lifetime Mortgages or Care Annuities.
· Answer technical queries from across the business on the group’s products and the regulatory and legislative environment.
· Review processes and documentation to ensure they meet legislative, contractual and regulatory requirements - Making recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
· Assist in ensuring that products and pension schemes are administered within HMRC, DWP and TPR practice.
· Support the group’s brand values with technical input into customer communications, training and Customer Service development.
· Aware of the Group’s products and have a practical understanding of these products, in particular the technical environment in which they operate.
· Excellent at both verbal and written communication, with great interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
· Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills.
· Experienced in working with Pension Annuities, Care Annuities or Lifetime Mortgages.
