Pensions Covenant Consultant
Are you a Pensions Covenant Consultant looking for a new challenge utilising your corporate transactions experience in a new part-time role?
You will work alongside the Client Lead in developing advice for clients to research the sponsoring employer against pension scheme liabilities. Using your technical skills, you will determine and manage the required analysis underpinning the advice and also use your communication skills to ensure effective delivery of that advice. Key responsibilities will be to draft client reports, ensuring they are highly informative, well-structured, prepared in time and clearly written. You will attend meetings with clients to present your findings and have the opportunity to develop client relationships with the aim of ultimately progressing to lead those relationships.
This is a varied and exciting role and you will also assist with a range of marketing and new business related activities and whilst this is a small team of specialists, you will be supported by more junior analysts who will be involved with research and help you manage the day to day administration function of the work, enabling you to give thought to solutions and guidance to your clients who will be large trust based pension schemes and their Trustee Boards.
To be considered for this role, you will have some experience regarding corporate transactions within the pensions industry at a senior level, the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including FDs, Actuaries and Lawyers, with a strong numerical and analytical background and the ability to manage junior resources and also provide support to the two senior managers within the team with their complex cases also.
