Pension Team Leaders, we have a super new in-house pension department role, a newly created position within a newly created in-house pension department (with outsourced administration). You MUST HAVE LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE. 

You will support the Pensions Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Retained Pension Employer Service, which includes monitoring the pension administrator’s performance against set criteria for this organisation. You will manage and lead the Pension Advisors in a range of administrative duties in relation to the pension employer function, including the provision and checking of information to support the accurate maintenance of scheme member records, and to monitor and assist employers in fulfilling their obligations to the pension fund.

You will liaise with advisors and external administration providers, attend meetings, keep up to date on pension's legislation and compliance, completing pension's-related statutory returns and surveys as required, maintain scheme documentation including the pension fund website and internal pension's information.  You will train and coach, encourage and empower your team of internal pension advisors, deal with inquiries and any complaints to happy resolution.

You will be someone with LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE who has worked in a similar role, managing a small team of Pension Administrators, and offering support to more senior management as needed.
