DB Pensions System Analyst    

To £30,000 plus benefits

Our client is a FTSE 100 organisation seeking a Pensions System Administrator to join their in-house pension team, based in Hertfordshire. To assist in developing and maintaining the Pensions Pension Administration system and perform general system administration task and deliver an excellent colleague experience.

On a day to day basis you will be working with the pension systems and administration, member services teams, third party pension system providers and scheme actuaries/advisors.

Duties

  • Being a first line response to capture and investigate system issues
  • Systems/development testing
  • Leading on user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Manage testing and report on issues and errors (maintain test matrices and error logs)
  • Ensuring a rigorous testing strategy and high-quality assurance standards
  • General system maintenance and housekeeping tasks
  • Maintaining all user profiles and user groups
  • Processing scheme annual events e.g. Year end, Pen Inc and Benefit Reports
  • Supporting the Systems owner and system analysts in delivering system developments and projects
  • Liaising with software developers, third party providers and scheme advisors
  • Liaising with internal systems teams and administration teams
  • Providing systems support and training to the administration teams
  • Supporting the administration teams with administration tasks and projects
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always act with integrity and due diligence

Experience and Skills

  • 2+ years of DB Pension Scheme administration experience
  • Experience of technical benefit calculations
  • Experience of using pension systems and automated calculation / processes
  • Experience of data manipulation in Excel / Access
  • Experience of systems testing (desirable)
  • Prioritisation and time management
  • Communication skills - written and verbal
  • Strong Team work ethic and willingness to help
  • Highly motivated and keen to learn
  • Highly numerate and analytical
  • UK Pension Scheme knowledge
  • Pension Systems knowledge (desirable)
