You will be joining an a busy department with expertise in both pensions scheme administration and technology where you will ensure successful delivery of new client administration service installations and major projects for existing pensions administration clients. To understands the complexities of this role, you may be working as a Manager heading up a pensions administration team or as a Pensions Client Manager but if you background has been within in pensions administration at and an interest to move into project work, then please read on.
You will play a pivotal role in leading high profile client projects from the initiation/sales phase including new business pitches through to completion and will typically act as the lead client contact during the project delivery phase. Other duties will include co-ordinating the tech/IT and pension scheme administration project teams to ensure focus on go-live preparation and achievement of maximum efficiency at go-live. You will also proactively manage regular project team meetings to discuss progress, issues, and challenges and identify solutions or escalation routes.
To be considered for this role you will an understanding of corporate pension business requirements including that for DC, DB and hybrid arrangements. You should possess experience in delivery of pension administration services to clients and understanding of supporting processes and systems. If you have previous experience of any projects within a pension scheme administration or pension systems environment then this would be beneficial but is not essential.
