Trustee Appointment - Scotland, Birmingham, Leeds
Our client is focussed on providing trusteeship services to schemes with complex backgrounds, including Board disputes, schemes in financial distress, wind up or PPF assessment. We are seeking a senior pensions’ professional to deliver trusteeship services, and support clients when key decisions need to be made. You will able to offer guidance and be influential in your advice, ensuring that member benefits are protected.
This position is senior with a real career path that reports into the Board of Directors and will suit someone who is looking for challenge, has a good network and is commercially minded. Ideally we are looking for an Independent Trustee although consideration will be given to candidates with actuarial, accounting or investment experience who understand the necessity of assets, de-risking and experienced in buy-ins and buy outs. The profile will suit someone who has a strong pension career and the gravitas and communication skills to be a strong client manager and is confident to challenge the traditional pensions landscape.
APMI/FPMI, qualified Actuary, relevant legal qualifications or equivalent are preferred, together with Trustee experience/senior pensions client management responsibilities, extensive technical pensions knowledge, particularly of PPF/FAS guidance.
