In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of corporate support services to the Chairs and Trustee Boards of the two company staff pension schemes and to the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team. 

So how do you fancy leading the delivery of bi-monthly Board papers packs and Sub-Committee papers packs (approx. 2 per month), setting deadlines for production of material for meetings, including drafting and circulating minutes, ensuring the Senior Management Team remain on track for delivery.  You will be responsible for maintaining an action plan of matters arising from Board and Sub-Committees; accountable for ensuring allocated actions are followed up and delivered by relevant individuals.  You will deal with the organisation of Board and other office meetings including attendees, venues, and domestics, with focus on obtaining value for money through supplier negotiation.  You will also deal with the organisation of elections for Member-Nominated Trustee vacancies – liaising with unions and other external suppliers – keeping within agreed budget.

You will be responsible for annual Board Effectiveness assessments and delivery of training plans for individual Trustees arising from the findings; developing, delivering and reviewing plans for managing external suppliers, including third-party admin, investment managers and communications consultants.  This role also includes providing internal project management resource for the team, as well as being responsible for managing the internal IT and office support services resource and the principle contact for IT/admin issues requiring resolution for the team.
