You are going to need dual skills for this in-house occupational pension's role.  Great organisation and administration ability alongside super communication and people skills.  Our client is looking for someone passionate about pensions, who enjoys member liaison and is able to communicate pension's matters clearly and with the enthusiasm providing an in-house pension to employees' warrants, and help with the administration that goes with running this.  

You will prioritise, manage and respond to all member and employee enquiries relating to pensions and life assurance, and also provide pension's expertise for the company by efficient and effective liaison with key stakeholders such as HR, Payroll, Reward and Finance.  Your proven organisational skills will enable you to process the day-to-day administration tasks for joiners, leavers, retirements and deaths, etc. (which will include checking and monitoring of work carried out by other staff).  You will also support the day-to-day administration of all of the UK and Ireland pension and life assurance arrangements.  You will help train more junior members of the department, check work, data accuracy (including security), mentoring as required.  You will oversee workflow, department and scheme processes, implement improvements and updates, ensuring internal standards (SLA's) are maintained.

Alongside attending some important meetings and contributing to the production of Trustee Agenda Packs from time to time also, this employer is also keen for you to help with change management initiatives which interlink with the pension operations, occasionally have specific lead project management responsibilities for several different projects which will vary from time to time, and cover other roles if required.  Empowering you to take ownership of the role and your long-term future career with them.
