This genuine household name is looking for a Senior Pension Administrator or Pension Officer to join their in house Pension Team on a fixed term 18 month contract. You will provide support to the company, trustees, employees and the in-house pensions’ team on the UK & ROI DB and DC pension plans.

The admin of the scheme is outsourced, so you will be responsible for producing, processing and reconciling data to provide to their external pension administrators, pension providers, consultants and actuaries to facilitate the ongoing admin of the pension funds.

You will process queries, calculations and requests to and from external resource providers and will help monitor external administrators and providers’ response times and performance against their SLAs.

You will also be involved in the provision of secretarial services to the Trustees, producing information and documentation for the meetings and attending some of those meetings.

Candidates must have a minimum of at least 3 years’ experience of working in a senior pension administration role with either a third party admin provider or within the admin function of an in house pension scheme. You will need to possess a strong grasp of UK & ROI occupational pension schemes and their associated regulation/legislation.

Whilst this is a fixed term contract it is also an excellent opportunity for somebody to gain exposure to a broad range of issues withing the in house pension environment.
