Allied to a strong London and regional Pensions law practice, Blake Morgan’s Independent Trustee arm is thriving in a rapidly expanding area of the market, as trustee boards increasingly seek to utilise expert independent guidance. Working with predominantly live schemes, the team assist their clients with a wide variety of matters from governance to vendor management, complex change programmes, legislative impact, funding challenges, employer covenants and so on. They are now looking for an additional professional to join them and help to develop and grow their business. The ideal candidate will have a detailed knowledge of scheme law, operations and regulatory considerations and is likely to be qualified as a Lawyer, Associate of the Pensions Management Institute or in a comparable professional capacity. They are also likely to have gained their experience in a client facing capacity and should be able to demonstrate a track record of driving new revenue streams and practice growth. Clearly experience of independent trustee work would be a considerable advantage but is not a prerequisite. This role is being handled exclusively by the IPS Group and all direct and third party applications will be forwarded to them for evaluation.
