For this mid to long-term (six months initially) pension administration contract (to be reviewed at the end), as a Pensions or Senior Pensions Administrator, you will be required to actively contribute to the effective overall management of the Group’s pension arrangements, for this friendly medium-sized in-house department of pension's professionals. 

You will help with the day-to-day administration of all Group pension arrangements, maintaining the casework log and managing the allocation and monitoring of casework to ensure all member queries are completed within agreed target dates.  You will also manage the processing and checking of day-to-day work completed by the more junior members of the Administration Team, which includes manual and system-based calculations. 

You will ensure the accurate completion of the monthly pensioner payroll, and accurate completion of annual Scheme processes including, but not limited to, the annual pension increase exercise and the production of annual benefit statements.  You will also ensure the timely completion of all reporting requirements to HM Revenue & Customs and be comfortable liaising as and when required with financial advisers, internal HR and Payroll Departments and external agencies.

Reporting to the Pensions Administration Manager, for your team you will be there if needed to offer valuable support, possibly technical guidance and the benefit of your experience to other more junior members of the Department as and when required.  You may be called upon for provision of advice and support to HR and Payroll Departments in connection with the Group’s pension arrangements.  Our client believes in engaging contractor resource and making them feel part of the department and truly valued.
