One of the world's leading professional services organisations is looking to expand their actuarial team and is seeking to recruit trainee pensions’ actuaries. This role will be suitable for part qualified pensions actuaries close to qualification. In addition to strong technical skills, individuals are to have strong communication skills and to be able to work within a team based environment, as this is key objective of the role. You will be performing and checking all aspects of actuarial valuations including preparation of results presentations, production of pensions’ disclosure figures for company accounts under FRS17, IAS19, etc... The Assistant Pensions Actuarial Manager will also provide support to Scheme Actuaries in their role providing regulatory services to trustees of pension schemes and also support to Actuaries involved in corporate transactions and pensions’ strategy reviews. Other aspects of the role will be checking work for junior members of the team and managing workloads for a small team. A good exam record with the expectation of qualification as an actuary in the next 12 - 18 months and significant experience in a pensions’ consultancy environment are essential.
