This is an expansive Senior Administrator role that has occurred after a period of sustained growth for this business. Within the role, you will be administering several large Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Pension schemes, which will specifically include responsibility for checking the work of junior members within the team (and delegating work to these team members to ensure deadlines are met) as well as coaching and training new staff. You will need to capitalise on any new leads and continue to promote the service and products of the client to the public. Plus, the position will require you to lead presentations and reports to the business as well as challenging processes with ideas and improvements to ensure everything can work and run as effectively and efficiently as possible.
The successful candidate for this role will need to be an experienced individual within the Pensions industry who has the ability to deal with a high volume of work. You need to possess a wealth of experience of working within on Defined Benefits (essential) and Defined Contribution (desirable) schemes. To be successful in this role, it is important that you have experience of coaching and training junior staff, and have the manual calculations experience to be able check work accurately and to tight deadlines, as well as good knowledge of Pensions legislation and administration procedures. It is essential you have the technical knowledge to back up your previous experience.
