If you have experience of advising large corporate clients on the Pension schemes for their staff - covering Defined Contribution Pension arrangements - and you're looking to working for a growing, award-winning Pensions and Employee Benefits consultancy based in London - then this is the ideal role for you!

Due to a period of growth, a market-leading Pensions Consultancy - specialising in providing Corporate and Occupational Pensions consultancy services and strategic investment advice - are currently looking to recruit a Pensions Consultant to join their London-based team.

The Pensions Consultant will join an established, friendly team and will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the consulting services of Pension schemes for a portfolio of c20 SME clients. There will be the opportunity to deal with new business enquiries and undertake complex projects as and when required, and you will regularly be required to attend meetings with clients to undertake employee presentations and further promote the business' name and services in the market. Finally, whilst this role has no direct line management responsibilities, you will be working in a senior position within the team; so will be expected to coach and nurture your junior colleagues on a regular basis.

Experience-wise, you will need to have had extensive market and product knowledge within the UK Pensions industry; ideally from a Broker background, and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working in a similar client-facing role; effectively managing a large portfolio of clients, covering their DB and DC Pension arrangements. Progression towards industry-related exams is advantageous, and you will need possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be comfortable working closely with key, high-profile clients on a daily basis. The ability to win new business and look for areas for cross-selling opportunities will also be a bonus!
