The Public Service Pensions Board (PSPB) is seeking a dynamic Communications & Public Relations Manager to lead strategic communications and stakeholder engagement for one of the Cayman Islands’ most vital public institutions.
About PSPB
PSPB is a statutory authority responsible for administering the Public Service, Parliamentary, and Judicial Pension Plans, which include both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution provisions.
About the role:
Reporting to the Chief Pensions Officer, you will:
- Develop and implement PSPB’s communications strategy and annual plan, including social media.
- Lead the production of PSPB’s annual report and ensure consistent, accurate messaging across all platforms.
- Organize stakeholder engagement events and monitor outreach effectiveness.
- Create and manage pension-related communications materials.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align messaging.
- Monitor industry trends and media coverage to enhance PSPB’s public profile and mitigate reputational risks.
- Write and adapt press releases for local and regional media, building strong media relationships.
About you:
- 2–4 years of experience in the pensions industry, with hands-on communications and digital media experience.
- Project management skills and experience working with external suppliers.
- Ideally Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Knowledge of government operations and public sector pensions is a plus.
