Support the Group Pensions team in providing a comprehensive, flexible and efficient administrative pensions service to all employees and members of the pension schemes. Be able to lead with key BAU activities and proactively put forward ideas for possible process improvements, in order to always maintain best practice.

About the role
- Provide responses to employee and member queries with via email, telephone, letter and/or pension surgeries/1-2-1 sessions in an efficient and timely manner, providing an exceptional level of customer service always.
- Undertake the monthly joiner and contribution processes in a timely manner, including uploading to the various providers systems.
- Accurately update and maintain the pension elements of the HR system in a timely manner including:
o changes to auto-enrolment status.
o changes to group life information.
o conduct self-audit on input. - Liaise and collaborate with the third party administrators, Company HR and payroll, and finance, as required.
- Support with reviewing paperwork and collating recommendation papers for death cases, as required.
- Support the Pensions Manager with secretarial services for the Trustee Boards, as required, such as meeting pack collation, meeting dates and arrangements, actions post meeting, etc.
- Undertake any administration tasks (day-to-day or adhoc) as directed by the Pension Administration Manager or Pensions Manager, such as raising purchase orders and payments, sorting mail, liaising with post room to send mail, filing (online and paper), etc.
- Support the Pension Administration Manager and the Pensions Manager with annual and adhoc projects, such as the annual choices exercise, Group Life Assurance renewals, TUPE exercises, member communication exercises, annual year-end data renewals, etc.
- Build and maintain knowledge of pension legislation requirements, as well as the Scheme Trust Deed and Rules for the current pension schemes
- To perform data analysis and/or develop data models as directed by the Pension Administration Manager and the Pensions Manager.
- Proactively identify possible process improvements and discuss these with Pension Administration Manager or the Pensions Manager.
About you
- Good written and oral skills
- Strong data analysis skills
- Good capability with Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with online Pensions Administration and HR systems (desirable)
- Pension administration experience
