Position Overview
As a Pensions Governance Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring occupational pension schemes are compliant with regulations and best practices. You will work closely with Lead Consultants to deliver exceptional pensions management outsourcing services, partnering with in-house pension functions to meet agreed objectives and timelines.
Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance of occupational pensions schemes with regulations
• Attend Trustee and Sub-Committee meetings and assist with trustee secretariat duties
• Prepare recommendations to trustees on various pensions matters
• Support wider teams with ongoing and ad-hoc client work
• Deliver agreed workstreams within service levels and budgets
• Help manage client commercials and ensure financial discipline
Requirements
• Previous experience with DB, DC and hybrid pension arrangements
• Strong technical knowledge in pensions governance and secretariat support
• Good commercial understanding and ability to work within budgets
• Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise work effectively
• Flexibility to work under tight timescales without compromising quality
• Commitment to professional delivery and exceptional service
• Strong influencing, communication and clear, concise writing skills
