JOB DESCRIPTION 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Manager to join our SIPP team. The SIPP team provides administration and trusteeship services to self-invested personal pension arrangements for members, both advised and non-advised. We hold over 1000 commercial properties and are looking to grow in this area. This role can be based in our Glasgow or Cheltenham offices working on a hybrid basis.

A snapshot of your day:

  • Accountable for a group of clients to ensure that their needs are fully understood, service is delivered within any agreed service levels, priorities and quality standards.
  • To attend client meetings when required and to carry out all activities in relation to those clients.
  • To ensure all invoices are prepared and settled in a timely manner 
  • Ensure time is recorded correctly and managed in such a way that adds value for money to clients.
  • To manage daily work flow in relation to the given group of clients and understand likely future work flows in coming months.
  • To identify risk and raise awareness with your manager of the underlying causes.
  • To support the SIPP proposition, to manage client expectations to ensure you retain them as well as looking for new business potential.
  • It may be appropriate for some client responsibilities to be passed to a Client Administrator but the accountability remains with the Client Manager.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C/5 or equivalent.
  • Experience in pensions and working in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the SIPP and SSAS market place is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • The ability to work hard with the right attribute towards the continuous development of your skills and knowledge.
