Our client, a growth-minded pensions consultancy, is seeking an experienced Client Manager to join their ambitious team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a portfolio of pension schemes and deliver high-quality services to clients.

Position Overview

As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of pension schemes, ensuring excellent service delivery, and managing key stakeholder relationships. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the organisation's strategic objectives and delivering value to clients. Within the role you will develop into an experienced professional trustee and full training and support will be provided to help with this. We would also expect the individual to develop their own network of industry contacts over time.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of pension schemes
• Ensure high-quality service delivery to clients
• Coordinate Trustee meetings and produce documentation
• Liaise with and manage Trustee's advisers
• Oversee scheme compliance and governance documentation
• Stay current with pension legislation and industry issues
• Articulate technical points to clients effectively
• Manage projects and budgets efficiently
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements

• Solid experience as a pension professional
• Good understanding of pension trusteeship and legislation
• Knowledge of pension administration, scheme secretariat, or consultancy
• Develop your own network of industry contacts over time
• Working towards or completed relevant professional qualification
• Familiarity with Pension Protection Fund (PPF) and The Pensions Regulator (TPR)
• Understanding of pension scheme wind-up process
