To provide a comprehensive pensions service to all staff of the scheme including managers and to supervise and direct the work of the Pensions Assistant and Trainee Pensions Administrator. 

About the role 
  • To deliver the operational services on a day to day basis to achieve the delivery of a high quality, professional and timely pensions service.  To interpret and implement changes to the 3 Pension Schemes offered as they occur and in turn advise managers of the financial and operational impact of changes. 
  • To act as a first point of contact, and liaise with the Pension Scheme Administrators 

About you 
  • Good understanding of the Local Government & Teachers Pension schemes. With particular regard to scheme requirements for the submission of information needed for the Monthly/Annual returns 
  • Knowledge of the USS pension scheme, Automatic enrolment and re enrolment.
