Are you a Test Analyst seeking to work for a large in-house team, and really know you are making a difference to members everyday by what you do? If yes, you could soon be joining the Strategy and Change team within the Pensions department, in a newly created exciting role. Across the whole pension's team, our client has incredibly ambitious, exciting and innovative plans and they are looking for Pension's professionals just like you to join the team to help them achieve these.
You will be responsible for making sure changes to the pension's administration systems have been thoroughly tested to meet the agreed requirements and that these changes have not affected the system functionality and performance. You will ensure all testing requirements have been documented correctly and manage defects for these changes, You will work closely with other members of the pension's team and liaise with the external developers.
You will be able to produce the project testing strategy document, and also produce and execute all test scripts. You will identify system data and environmental requirements to allow the testing to proceed and ensure all required information is in place, logging any defects, and working with the wider team to standardise testing approaches and methodology. You will also get to participate in project requirement gathering workshops, and liaise with User Acceptance Testers to assist them in their creation of UAT test plans and oversight of their results, and advise members of the team of potential testing clashes and timescales to assist in project and portfolio planning.
To undertake this super role you will need previous experience of leading testing activity on major projects, with examples of facilitating bug defect reporting (and collaboratively finding solutions), alongside operational knowledge of UK DB and DC pensions and understanding of regulatory requirements. You will hopefully have knowledge of the full project life-cycle and be able to demonstrate where the Test Analyst provides input into that life-cycle.
Given the super flexible working and just two days in the office you will need to be able to take ownership for prioritisation and execution of your own workload, and have a proven track record of working as part of an agile working team.
