The Consultant will work within the Trustee Services Team and will be responsible for the provision of strategic advice to trustee clients, managing the scheme secretarial role for Trustees, formulating employee benefit solutions and working with Client Leaders and Senior Consultants supporting the delivery of services to more complex, or larger clients
Main responsibilities
- Income generation from clients to achieve agreed targets
- Activity that identifies trustee and pension consulting opportunities within existing and new customers
- Responsible for driving and generating sufficient activity and client contact to achieve targets and income generation
- Ensure a high level of client service satisfaction, identify dissatisfaction and respond to issues with cost effective solutions
Technical Skills / Competencies
Commercial/Communication skills, Service excellence, Technical skills and knowledge, Business Networking, Presentation skills & Previous Sales Experience with excellent track record
Knowledge and Expertise
The job holder will need to have a high level of understanding of their market specialism – Trust Based Pensions, Employee benefits, Group Risk/Flexible benefits and Specialist counselling services – as well as a high level of overall understanding or the Corporate pension and Employee Benefits market
Experience & qualifications
Degree standard or equivalent, proven sales track record with Wide Industry knowledge (at least 5 years pensions/benefits experience)
