A newly created role, just for you! In this lovely new role you will support the day-to-day pensions operations by the teams at our client's shared services centres providing guidance in relation to the Company’s UK pension schemes.  To provide pensions data and reporting as required for UK and Group operations.

You will need a wide understanding of pension's admin processes, both for DB and DC schemes, basic IT skills to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint and hopefully you will be familiar with data extraction to produce regular reports, and have used pension's administration software. You will also be someone able to communicate about pensions in plain language. 

You will report to the Pensions Governance Manager and be Part of the UK pension's team within the company HR function. You will have experience working in a pension's admin role or environment, involved in regular admin processes, knowledge and experience of Automatic Enrolment obligations for employers and different approaches available to achieve compliance, perhaps even some experience of public sector schemes in outsourcing situations and as part of this experience relating to pensions data and events, including testing pensions data and contributions monitoring. What about the role, well it is diverse. You will quickly become familiar with the company's pension arrangements and their application within the UK & Ireland business, develop knowledge of the company's HR and payroll systems, liaising with systems teams regarding required updates or changes.  Carry out appropriate data review to ensure continued validity.  Run reports for management purposes and to support pension projects as required. Provide training to support the pension's knowledge of people around you in linked roles. Maintain network directories/databases to facilitate use by the pension's team, in compliance with company IT policies. Ensure company compliance with Auto-enrolment obligations relating to contributions and employee communications; complete regulatory certification. 

Vitally you will also provide guidance to pension's admin and payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payment of contributions to trustees/providers.  You will monitor external payments and flag any non-compliance. Other elements of this role will entail data transfer and payroll set-up processes run smoothly in relation to TUPE transfers and at commencement of commercial contracts, from accurate and timely processing of payroll deductions and payments to external administrators and providers, liaison with the payroll and administration teams, Compliance with Automatic Enrolment obligations, Pensions aspects of TUPE transfers to admissions to public sector pension schemes.

Although this role will be largely home-based (unless you wish to go on site) it will be interactive, so you won't feel isolated, you will feel part of a motivated team, and that you are valued and needed every day. You will play a full role in team meetings and activities, including regular HR reporting and performance management. You will liaise with external funds and authorities to support admission processes for LGPS and other public sector schemes; work with colleagues to coordinate related requirements such as financial bonds/guarantees.  Support the SSC teams in maintaining contribution schedules and annual reporting. You will provide advice and technical support to wider HR team and other colleagues to answer questions that arise.  Coordinate employee questions/concerns, liaising with others in the pension's team.
