This well regarded and widely recognised in-house pension scheme is looking to make a key addition to their Pension Technical support team by recruiting an experienced Pension Officer/Pension Technician to provide support in particular around Scheme Governance and Secretariat Services.
The responsibilities of the role will be varied and will be driven to a certain extent by your technical expertise in DB, DC, CARE, and in both trust and contract based arrangements.
The team as a unit provide a technical and legislative support service to the wider scheme and this consists of various areas including Trustee Secretarial services, Technical Guidance & Referral, Legislation & Communication, and Corporate Governance etc.
The successful candidate will have a strong and well-rounded technical knowledge within occupational pensions, with a solid understanding of all types of contract and the regulation surrounding them. Previous experience of providing Trustee Secretariat services is essential.
You will ideally be APMI qualified or making strong progress towards qualification.
Experience can have been gained either in-house or in a TPA environment, or within an independent trustee services environment.
