Ready for your next pension's project to manage? Are you an all-round pension's professional from administration through to compliance who can project manage? If yes, then how about joining a small friendly in-house pension department and supporting the Pensions Manager with the project managing of the pension projects including the transfer of pension administration services for the pension's scheme. Your vital role will be ensure that all project tasks, actions and documents are managed effectively. With the Pensions Manager you will attend project meetings and be a point of reference for progress. You will support the Pensions Manager to ensure the project governance is maintained and kept up to date for the duration of the project and project close.

You will coordinate and manage tasks, actions and activities required for delivery of the transfer of pension administration services, by maintaining and keeping up to date the various project plans with accuracy and detail. Tracking progress of the projects against deliverables. Working closely with the Pensions Manager in the setting and monitoring of deadlines and summarising the progress of the project with the Pensions Manager, including deputising if needed in their absence at internal meetings. Liaising with third parties to discuss, agree and negotiate activities and associated timelines for project delivery at go live. Assisting in the managing of risks, issues and change controls. Help in drafting any project associated communications. Attend regular service provider meetings and any other meetings as required.

Working knowledge of MS Project, Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE 2) or equivalent and past LGPS or DB administration experience are all highly advantageous in this super newly created role.
