This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody to break away from day to day pension admin and join this Independent Pension Trustee and Governance specialist firm as a Trainee Scheme Manager. The organisation provides trustee and governance services to a broad portfolio of schemes, from small to very large, and both open and closed schemes.
Your role will be to support the wider team in the provision of services to clients, eventually leading to some more client facing opportunities of your own as you experience grows.
You be involved in all kinds of work including drafting vital governance documentation ahead of meetings, contributing to marketing and communication exercises, and the day to day running of schemes including handling enquiries from various stakeholders.
Candidates will be educated to degree level and have a minimum of approximately 12 months’ experience of working within a similar pensions environment, and will possess a reasonable understanding of how pension schemes function. Candidates will ideally be working toward a relevant qualification such as PMI or be actively willing to study towards this.
