Even with the industry leading systems and processes that Capita Hartshead boasts, first-rate administration demands an expert staff. At Capita Hartshead, staff development - both through formal qualification and on-the-job training - is given high priority at all levels.

Individual members of staff are members of a wide range of professional bodies and attainment of professional qualifications is actively encouraged. An individual development programme ensures each member of staff is equipped with the skills required to provide the highest quality of service to our clients.

Our pensions offices are registered 'Qualification in Pensions Administration' (QPA) or 'Qualification in Public Sector Pensions Administration' (QPSPA) assessment sites. We also support and sponsor the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) qualifications along with the new PMI qualification - the Diploma in Pensions Calculations (DPC). This is an integral part of our ongoing commitment to the Investors in People (IiP) award.

We currently have around 300 staff across our thirteen offices that are studying, part qualified or fully qualified.
