| | Job description This is a great opportunity for you to contribute to the growing success of this ever-expanding pension administration company who are keen to recruit, for an initial 12-month period, a Profund Classic Analyst/Developer.
You will ideally have several years “Profund Classic” experience, and in particular will be proficient in the following areas; Instruct Sets programming, Report Writer, Dataviews & Dataview Letters tools, as well as the configuring, support and maintenance of Profund Classic systems. It is also vital that you have experience of both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Schemes.
Your responsibilities will include the continuous development of the existing system (Profund) including the programming of calculations, setting up complex reports and integrating with other systems to improve automation. In addition, you will be looking to continuously improve the IT solutions to increase efficiency throughout the business. This would include, for example, the set up of new schemes, bulk new members, pensioner payrolls, data cleansing, migration and verification. Furthermore, the set up of calculations for new schemes, changes to existing schemes arising from changes to scheme design, the addition of new benefit sections or changes in legislation.
You will be able to demonstrate you are a proactive, self-motivated professional with excellent analytical skills.
Working as a key member within the IT Team you will be delivering agreed projects and tasks, meeting the needs of the business on time and providing first class IT support to the business.
Other desirable skills that may help you in securing this role include VBA with Excel and knowledge of Microsoft Access, SQL and/or SQL Server (especially using Stored Procedures and advanced queries). Any experience of Compendia would also be an advantage. |
