Job description
Our client is seeking one possibly two experienced Senior Pension Administrators or above (salary available is that of Senior Pensions Administrator level only) who are looking for work/life balance and the opportunity to work on a part time basis and not a full working week (this option is also available if preferred).

You will be joining a vibrant working environment, and undertaking a role which offers you the opening to take on genuine responsibility, and enjoy the challenges of a wide and varied workload. You will be joining a secure organisation currently in the early stages of an exciting period of growth, with anticipated new client growth throughout 2010. Constantly striving and succeeding in the provision of excellent and innovative services. Reporting to the Head of Pensions Administration, you will take full responsibility for your own portfolio of Contracted-out Final Salary Pension Schemes, from small to medium in size. This is your opportunity to work on your own initiative, with guidance when required from a ‘hands on’ manager, there to help and train when needed. You will deal directly with scheme advisers, and other official organisations with regular client and scheme contact. You will be an individual able to adhere to policies, procedures and instructions but with initiative, able to utilise common sense where required and ‘think outside the box’ when necessary. You will be a proactive individual with a strong commercial awareness in regard to the pensions administration service provided. You are able to actively manage each task and ensure issued within deadlines, whilst ensuring other projects are fully completed within set time frames. You will enjoy taking ownership of tasks and possess excellent organisational skills. You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with inter-personal skills and a credible manner that balances confidence with diplomacy. Your highly proficient written communication skills will assist you with report writing, whilst strong organisational skills will allow you to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities. You will possess client handling skills that allow you consider each case from the client/member perspective and react/action accordingly. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of computer literacy, with extensive experience of computerised pension administration systems.

If have been thinking about or wanting to work less days each week, give yourself more personal free time and a better work/life balance here is your chance. Here is a role that gives you work/life balance coupled with job satisfaction. When in work you will still be expected to work hard and aspire to offer only the best service provision, but only for the hours and days worked. This company does not have a long hours culture, staff start and leave on time, and take regulated breaks. This is the perfect role for anyone seeking a fresh challenge but greater work/life balance.
