Contracting out

We may be tempted to think that contracting out, GMPs and Protected Rights are quickly fading into the past. Not yet. There is still a lot of administration around these benefits. This article looks at the history, the administrative burden schemes are still carrying today and considers the Government’s proposals to abolish contracting out on a money purchase basis – but don’t get too excited yet, the proposals are not likely to be implemented before 2012.
